We remodeled our hall bathroom and installed this system to replace the noisy traditionally 120 cfm exhaust fan. This system moves the fan motor away from the living space and is truly silent. I have a 250 CFM model in my master bath that moves more air and is louder if you can call it that. This system is so silent you have to stop and listen for it, I modified the design a bit and added an additional pickup so I have one directly over the toilet and one direct over the shower. This system effectively removes moisture and bathroom odors. My son used to defeat the old noisy model (which was a 1.0 sonne 120 cfm nutone) and the stench would travel down the hall-way, he is no match for this sucker (no pun intended).
