I was originally going to go with a traditional workbench, but we seem to move things around in the garage every six months or so. I didn't relish the thought of a heavy, industrial workbench. I liked this, because it's a simple, open design and lightweight too. It's got a very functional surface area and it's open underneath so that I can slide other junk under it. The fact that it flips over into a scaffold was also attractive, in case we needed a work platform for working in and around the house. My only gripe is the legs flaring out, which is great for the scaffold. However, it would have been nice if the legs could have locked vertically in the workbench mode. Overall, it seems very sturdy and solid.
