I've had this right angle adapter for a few years now, although I really don't use it all that often. It is a perfect fit for my little Bosch 11224VSR rotary hammer, but also fits several other Bosch SDS hammers. This adapter was kind of pricey, but seems to be well designed and durable. The housing is made from thick glass reinforced plastic so maintains the fully-insulated tool rating of my Bosch hammer. The adapter includes a hex wrench to tighten the clamp to secure it to the rotary hammer and the bit holder/chuck on it works exactly the same as the one on the hammer itself, releasing the bit by pulling back on the collar.

Bosch clearly states in bold print right on the package that it can be used for hammering, drilling and screwdriving in concrete.
With the possible exception of the side handle, you do not need to remove any other part of the rotary hammer to install this adapter. It simply slides down over the rotary hammers SDS chuck and snaps into it just like any other SDS bit. You then tighten the hex bolt on the clamp to secure the adapter in place. When using this adapter, the hammer impact will be reduced by up to 40% from straight drilling, but this adapter is really only something you would use when there is just no room to otherwise drill a hole or set a Tapcon, etc., so sometimes can mean the difference between getting the job done or not. Overall, although it was fairly expensive and doesn't get used every day, I'm glad that I have this adapter available for those times when it is really needed.
