Hansgrohe 31494001 Metris Tub Spout, Chrome Review

For our recent home remodel, my wife and I remodeled two bathrooms and added a powder room. We decided to keep a consistent look throughout our home, and went with Metris E in chrome for all the bathrooms. We like it's, clean, contemporary lines, and are really happy with how solidly built these are.

This spout can't be any more simpler. It lets out water from the wall to a tub. There isn't a diverter on here, so if you have a bathtub/shower combo, you'll want to make sure your faucet has a diverter attached.

One minor caveat, my wife discovered how sharp the corners are on this spout as she was getting up while giving our baby a bath. Ouch! It's not a problem with the design, per se, but is something to look out for whether you're washing a baby or washing your tub. If you plan to give your child a bath from this spout, we definitely recommend purchasing a spout cover. That said, we love this spout and have no regrets about our purchase.
