This unit was installed to replace a 40 gallon gas water heater that supplies 2 sinks in a barber shop. After installing this water heater the water temperture after adjustment was still just above luke warm.
The sizing charts list lavatory sinks as 0.75 - 1.0 gpm, that is not true. After review of new faucets I found that most are rated 2.2 gpm. If you want a lower flow rate you must purchase a low flow aerator. The low flow aerators are available in 0.50, 1.0, and 1.5 gpm ratings. I installed 1.0 gpm aerators on the sinks and now the water temperature is hot and is working great!

If you are going to purchase a point of use water heater make sure you get an aerator that has a flow rate that matches what the water heater manufacturer recommends for the that unit.
