Excellent heat source, very quiet, attractive, & easy to set up & use. Arrived with minimal packaging & fuss, all intact. I just pulled it out of the box & it was already on the casters so I read the manual for set up (very easy) & plugged it in. No new heater smell burning off, either. I have a smaller upstairs & my baseboard heat went out so I am using it at night to heat my bedroom & upstairs area. So far the coldest it has been is low 30s, but I set it to 69-71 degrees & stay quite warm throughout the night. The temp on the unit can go up to 90 degrees if needed but I doubt I will need that, even in very cold weather. It cycles on & off once the desired temp is reached & the sound is barely noticeable. In fact I wish it were noisier for white noise as I sleep. Safe for my dogs. The cabinet is attractive & stays cool to the touch. Remote comes with battery installed & velcro so you can keep it on a bedside table or nearby. The casters make it easy to move around the room as well. I am only using it on the low setting (recommended for 600 sq feet or less) but the high setting is for up to 1000 sq feet if needed. It does heat the entire room with no cold spots as it claimed. With my baseboard heat my face would always be cold at night but with this I notice a more even heat/temp in the room. Very pleased for what I need it for which is cold winter nights in the South. (Our lows range 15-40 throughout the winter, it truly varies.)
